30 May 2009 Mol Belgium

After I got up, I packed my motorcycle and was just about the to leave when this woman walked up and started telling me about her travels throughout Europe on a motorcycle. Both she and her husband ride bikes and pretty much covered most of Europe on a motorcycle. She told me of some areas that were very scenic and if I had the time, I should check them out. I think she lives in the campground year round in a small trailer. I don’t know that for sure. I departed heading for Kortrijk, Gent, Antwerpen, Geel and Mol. All that was pretty easy. Finding Joseph and Lia from 28 years ago was more difficult. It took me an hour and a half to drive 8 km. I had to stop and check my directions probably ten times, and street signs are very difficult to find. I eventually found their residence. It looked like a fortress/castle. Solid concrete walls, fences, gates and alarm systems. I rang the door bell four times and was just about to walk away when Lia answered the door. What a surprise! I was about to leave and write a note that I stopped by. She introduced me to her husband and we talked about this that and the other thing until we went to bed.
